Thermometer is a instruments which measures human body temperature i.e degree of heat. The Thermometer records temperature with the help of two functions[1]. 1. Sensing and Scaling.- Sensing: It is done through tip (in case of contact thermometer) and probe (in case of infrared thermometer)
- Scaling: The measurement of temperature is indicated either by mercury in glass tube with scale or through digital display[2].

Thermometer are commonly used everywhere at homes, hospitals, industries and many other places.

The thermometer is used to measure internal body temperature.
- Measure armpit body temperature or body temperature under arm- Under tongue temperature
